Drum Lab is a very special class that brings drummers together!

It's special because it's not just a lesson or a class. It's an entire culture of exploration, curiosity, diving deeply into all things drumming and a lot of laughs!

How Does Drum Lab Beginners Work?

Drum Lab is a weekly 45-min class that runs exclusively at our Beeston school with a very specific format:

​

Every month, we have a new topic and each Wednesday of every month represents a different level of difficulty within the topic (see topics below).

​

That allows students to learn in a progressive way and ensures that the group gets to "reset" at the beginning of each month.

What Can You Learn?

2024/2025 SCHEDULE

 

  • JUNE: BASIC INDEPENDENCE

  • JULY: 8th NOTES & 16th NOTES

  • AUGUST: RUDIMENTS I

  • SEPTEMBER: BASIC ROCK BEATS

  • OCTOBER: BASS DRUM TECHNIQUE

  • NOVEMBER: HI-HAT PATTERNS

  • DECEMBER: DYNAMICS & ACCENTS

  • JANUARY: 8th TRIPLETS

  • FEBRUARY: RUDIMENTS II

  • MARCH: TEMPO CONTROL

  • APRIL: INTRO TO SYNCOPATION

  • MAY: SIMPLE SONG PLAYING

How Does Pro Drum Lab Work?

Pro Drum Lab is a weekly 60-min class that runs exclusively at our Beeston school with a very specific format:

Every month, we have a new topic and each Sunday of every month represents a different level of difficulty within the topic (see topics below).

​

That allows students to learn in a progressive way and ensures that the group gets to "reset" at the beginning of each month.

​

This class is very much in demand and most of our current attendees have attended EVERY SUNDAY for the last 5 YEARS!

​

Yes, commitment is a major part of the culture of Drum Lab.
